Field to Fork (F2F) Festival brings together community gardening professionals, urban homesteaders, gardening enthusiasts and small-scale agricultural producers to participate in workshops, hands-on activities, discussion, networking and support our Commonwealth's local agricultural markets.
Working off the 2011 and 2012 Festival blueprint, our 2013 Field to Fork one-day festival will offer Locally Grown Flavors of Kentucky, Interactive Workshops, Live Culinary and Gardening Demos, Farmers' Market Vendors, "Going Green Gardening" Exhibitors, and Commercial Agricultural Retailers. F2F is annual held within six miles of exit 76 of I-75 near the unincorporated town of Cartersville, Kentucky in Garrard County on the grounds of Halcomb's Knob Farm.
Admission & Workshop Fees: General admission fees and workshops fees are separate. All participants attending any of the Festival's workshops will receive complimentary admission to the Festival. Each years, several of our workshops are filled to capacity; therefore, we recommend participants interested in attending any of the Interactive Workshops to complete advance registration. 2013 workshop registrations will be due by July 6.
2013 Workshops will include a selection of 60 minutes, 90 minutes, and 2 hour "make-it and take-it" agricultural/gardening projects to engage and educate festival attendees. Go to our F2F Workshop Page for more information on the Festival's hands-on learning sessions.
Workshop costs are assigned according to the costs associated with the presenters' fees, supplies, and materials. For participants registered for "make-it and take-it" sessions, please plan transportation of your projects wisely, all projects must be loaded and transported from the Field to Fork Festival site at the conclusion of the Festival on July 20, 2013.
2013 General Admissions will be $5 for all ages.
